Overview - Checkout

The Checkout process allows shops to get quotes from their preferred OEM vendor for all parts listed on the estimate including ARO catalog parts as well as parts that have already been quoted from other vendors.

About CCC® Promote

CCC® Promote programs refer to the OEM Parts Promotions. It allows OEM dealers to promote OEM-brand parts to the repair shop while the estimate is being written. The CCC ONE® Platform enables OEMs to directly promote parts sales based on select sales performance insights. Use the CCC® Promote feature to see upfront promotional prices while the estimate is being written and parts are being ordered.

Electronic parts orders may only be placed on workfiles that have been converted to a job or a repair order. If you have not converted the workfile to a job, you will be prompted to do so when you click the Checkout button.

The Checkout process simplifies the parts selection and ordering process allowing the repair facility to do the following:

Shop can decide to buy parts from their preferred dealer
Checkout form displays dealer part prices including OEM Promote program parts and scenarios where there are different vendors or part types on the estimate
Refresh dealer availability/quote for all types of parts for the repair
More informed purchasing decision
Makes it easier to buy more parts from your preferred dealer
Provides the ability to upgrade from alternative parts to OEM within the OEM CCC® Promote programs for participating dealers

Comparing and selecting parts in the Checkout form can be performed regardless of estimating scenario:

Imported staff written estimate
Shop didn’t use the compare feature
CCC® Focus updates
PartsTrader® part updates
CarPart Pro™ part updates

To use Checkout

In the open workfile, ensure that you have selected all parts to be ordered.
Click the Checkout button. You will be prompted to convert the opportunity to a job or repair order depending on the unit type (Estimating only or Repair Workflow).
If you selected OEM catalog parts and you have more than one OEM vendor configured, click on the vendor to get a parts quote.
Select parts to order, or deselect parts not to order from the specified vendor.
Click on Select Footer to add a predefined or free form footer to the purchase order (optional).
Click on the Order button.

Note: Clicking the Orderbutton sends an ePO, (Electronic Purchase Order), to the specified electronic vendor. The Checkout icon on the workfile is updated to reflect the number of parts remaining to be ordered.
